Weighing trailer
Looking forward to our first Rally. Does anyone know if there is a good place in the Goshen area to get your trailer weighed? Thanks.

Your over there in Defiance how bout an elevator? (grain mill) They will do it and you won't feel so rushed. Just make sure to find one that is open or high enough.

In past years we have had folks weigh rigs at the Rally. Since we got since a late start this year on the Rally we haven't been able to find anyone this year. Sorry!

Most of your larger truckstops have CAT scales and they will weigh them for you also. Check them out also! See you at the Fall Rally!

Maybe we could get one of those guys from the carnivals who guesses your weight? They would only have to be within a 100 pounds or so.

If you go to a truck stop you can get the weight for each axle. All elevators that I've seen have one platform scale that only weighs the whole rig. Last time I used CAT at truck stop I think it was around $10.It will give you each axle only, not each wheel. Mike

Steve,
Last year there was a vendor at the rally that weighed you for a fee ($60.00 I think it was). They weigh each wheel (Truck and Montana) when you arrive, then weigh the truck after you have drop the Montana. Cost a lot more than a CAT scale, but will tell you if any one wheel is over loaded. The will mail you a report after the rally which shows you each tire, and weather you are over/under loaded on each wheel.
