electric awning barely works on 30 amp

Another awning question gang ,just came back from a 3 week trip and every time I have to hook up to 30 amp the awning barely rolls out and in sometimes I have to help it along by hand while my wife pushes the switch ,when hooked to 50 amp NO PROBLEM i don't get it???? I even turned everything off in the 5er when hooked to 30 amp thinking that would help

Probably a bad battery.

I have no idea why 30 or 50 amp makes any difference as the awning is 12 volt. As HOOK said it may be a bad battery or the battery is not charging

Thanx you guys I will test the batteries even though both are newer Interstates ,weird deal that it works great on 50 Amp not 30

Try checking the connections for corrosion. Could be as simple as that.
