You won't find Tomatoes like these at the local Piggley Wiggley, boys and girls

Have never seen a mater in a grocery store that can rival one home grown. Store bought are full of juice/seed pockets. Home grown are almost solid meat.
My success varies considerably. Last year we had more than we could eat from just 4 plants. Year before almost nothing from 6 plants. But plants are really looking good for this year with lots of small fruit already showing up.

Ozz, is that a bottle of baby oil in the midst of the maters? What's that for?

Human nature, when I posted the picture, I looked around the background and thought to myself I bet someone will ask about something in the picture, besides the Tomatoes.
Why do you think the Tomatoes are so shiny?

Wow, Ozz. You had me going. I recall your recent posts about starting up your tomato garden and I freaked when I saw this picture cuz I thought this was a recent harvest from your garden. I know ever since I retired time passing is hard to track, but this was ridiculous. I was gonna ask your secret, but never mind now. You were honest enough to explain the picture was from a while ago. Whew!

Covered mine with buckets tonight as we are having some horrible hail storms in our area. Wish I knew how to post pictures, I would post a few of my past crops.

Nothing better than home grown maters..... making tomato pie as soon as the better boys... produce.

Crazy weather this year so it will be later!!

Great hearing from you, don't be a stranger. You always have a super crop, you are the 'Mater whisperer'
