You guys are making me anxious for the rally. We should be there on Thursday. I figure it will be an all day drive.

Bill,
My biggest problem is I keep reading the thread about the pot luck dinners and getting hungrier and hungrier. The menu is starting to look way too good!!!

It'll take me longer to hook up than it will to drive to the CG. About 15 minutes away. Good for me this time. John, I didn't realize you live so close. Tom

As Richfaa indicated "clattering" so we will stay with that theme. I stayed busy today actually washing the Monty for our trip from North Carolina. We plan to stop at Staunton VA Tuesday 5/27 then into Gettysburg Wed., 5/28.

We are excited to attend the NE Rally, our first and visit all the fine folks attending. What does BYOB mean? hehehe.

Safe trip for all and see ya soon.

We spent the entire day yesterday getting the 3400 ready to clatter to Gettysburg. It has not moved since we returned from Florida in mid April. just need to get the food on board and we are good to go. ETA at the C.G about 3PM Tuesday the 27th. Ohio and PA turnpikes. It has been awhile since we traveled the PA turnpike. We are on site 65 and we will see all of you at the registration table..

Rich,

You guys have a safe run, the PA turnpike has made some great improvements over the years, those walls of stone, forming tunnel-like sections of roadway, well, pretty much gone, Now, it is open, airy, feels safer??

One tunnel left, Somerset I believe, that said, have not been past Breezewood to the east in 20 years???

We traveled the Breezewood to east end of PA turnpike when we first got Tana and then again this spring, about 5 years, we noticed considerable difference. The PA used to cause me white knuckles and that was just with a car! Much better now, none of that even with Tana in tow!

Enjoy the Rally!!

We will be "clattering" down Interstate 81 on Thursday around 8 am. Hope to get to the campground around 11:30 am providing I can "clatter" around the construction in NEPA. Got a call from a friend around 4:00 pm stating that the traffic is backed up about 10 miles getting through the bridge repairs at exit 211 southbound. I wouldn't think of traveling Friday thru Sunday in this area.

Looking forward to this weekend as it will be our first time out and our first rally (been too cold and rainy to go anywhere so far). We are arriving a little early (with permission from the CG owner) to help in any area that we are needed to get this rally off to a good start.

I guess I should have said. Quietly clattering" since we have one of those new fangled 08 EPA improved, clean burning, decreased MPG Ford Trucks. It is quieter and it does smell better..but I can still hear it from inside,,Without my hearing aid..
