Outlet plug issue

Hi, we have our Montana High Country 379RD parked in a covered facility with a battery tender. Not one of the plug in outlets work but the lights, slides, awning etc. work. Does it need shore power for the outlets to work?

Yes you need AC power for them to work

Yes - you need to be plugged in to shore power.
Some of my past RVs had a “cigarette lighter” outlet that had 12 volt power.

Just to expand a little, everything you named is powered by 12 vdc. The outlets are 120 vac.

Instead of a battery tender, just plug the rig into 120 volt power and let the converter maintain the battery.
