2018 Fall Rally Update
Okay, we just had a great planning meeting for the Rally. No, there are still no sign-ups but there will be shortly. Keystone is really excited about this Rally. We will be expanding the Ladies Driving school this year. We are also working on some surprise events in addition to the old standards. Because of all the companies involved, we will not have the final schedule until the end of the summer. That doesn’t mean we won’t be posting a tentative schedule ahead of that. So, keep watching this part of the forum for new postings. Event signups will appear as event specific postings. They won’t be hidden. At this time, it appears the biggest constraint will be the Amish meal.
I also want to encourage you to bring your bicycles, walking shoes and running shoes. Last year we started each day with a ride/walk, depending on which you were interested in doing. Many people wished they knew ahead to bring their bicycles. So, this is a heads up. Speaking of which, I personally recommend a helmet when riding. A number of years ago, at the Rally, I had a near catastrophic crash and broke my helmet in seven places. Ride carefully and keep watching the forum.

Thanks to you and your crew for doing all this work. I am sure it is appreciated by all!
When you say you are expanding the Ladies Driving School, do you mean adding more spaces so more ladies can register, or do you mean adding more content to the course?

In the past we have had to limit the number of participants in the Ladies Driving School. It always receives high ratings from those that participate. We will have more slots for first timers, an advanced course and possibly something for the men to help them It’s still in the works. For those still on the fence about comingto the Rally, we still have 36 slots as of the last update. We walked the fairgrounds sites and there is no opportunity this year to go beyond 150 units. So, if you want to make more life-long friends, learn some new skills, learn more about your unit and see how they are built, don’t miss it. If you are thinking about a new rig, this is the time to get your questions answered.

I am confused. Is the 36 slots for the driving school or for attending the rally. If it is for either, how do I sign up? Fairly new to the MOC and trying to figure out the website. Thanks for any info.

It would be for attending the rally. The sign-up for the driving school has not yet been posted.
It's our first Montana rally. We are signed up already.

Apparently they are full hookups, and you need to bring a long sewer hose as the sewer connections are at the rear of the sites.
This is our first time going, but I got this information by reading the previous posts on this forum.

This is true, most, if not all, the sites have the utilities in the rear so water and sewer you need long runs and electric is right there.

How much does a site cost? And is there a fee for the rally itself?

Keep watching the Forum under the Fall Rally site and the postings for the events and classes that need to be signed up for will be posted as soon as the plans are finalized with Keystone and the Montana Division. They normally do not get posted until mid July but maybe they will come out earlier this year, one never knows and I can speak from experience on this one. LOL As soon as the Wagon Masters and their staff get things worked out, you, as attendees, will be the first to know and that's when you jump in and start to sign up for all the fun events and tours. See you in September!

Just a suggest/comment. Years ago at the rally there was a Hand Signal Course. Which we took. It was wonderful information that we use to this day. I (Sandie) have taught other ladies these signals (upon request). I would like to see this course offered again. If it is, I Sandie Jackson would be happy to assist.
