dometic rm1350 fridge question

we have a 2020 Montana high country 384br. it has a dometic 4 door rm1350 fridge with gas and electric. when fridge is on in automatic both the auto and lip lights are on. to me this indicates both gas and electric are on. the unit is plugged in to 30 amp shore power.the issue is that I am going through a 30 pound bottle of propane in 7 days. there is nobody at the camper trough the week so fridge is not open and closed for a week.fridge doors for sure are closed. not many things in the fridge well at least only 15 cans of beer and a few things in freezer. temperature daytime gets up to about 26 degrees celcius. has anybody else think the amount of gas is high or this normal on a 12 cubic fridge

If you are om shore power there should be no propane use by the refer. Even if you were to be on propane, a 30lb. bottle a week, with nothing else running, is totally excessive. We boondock for months at a time (refer, water heater, stove) and don't use 30 lbs. in two weeks unless the furnace us running.

Your unit is like in my last 5er. If you push 'auto' the refer should search for electric 1st and if unavailable go to LP. If the LP button is pushed that over rides auto.
Something else is going on as with no one there through the week unless the furnace is running you should not be able to use that much propane. Not if the refer and HW tank are on gas!
