Disc Brakes

Hi All,

Thought some might be interested in the following information. I looked into getting disc brakes for our Montana. Mor-Ryde does have this upgrade available.

Thanks for the letter. The disc brake package will provide

Up to 30% shorter stopping distance
Reduced heat build up
Reduced brake fade
Simpler operation & maintenance

The cost for the disc brake package is as follows:

Parts cost for 2 axles w/ 6 lug wheels $1500
Labor at Mor/ryde service center for 2 axle $500

Parts cost for 2 axles w/ 8 lug wheels $1700
Labor cost $500

Installation can be done at the Mor/ryde factory or we can ship the
package to your for installation.

I plan on getting this for my 5th wheel instead of investing in an exhaust brake. Jack also told me this kit can be installed by a person with average mechanical skill. I will keep you advised via future posts in the forum.
