Florida Travel Notice

Yesterday in the fog we had a fuel tanker truck crash and explossion on I-75 in the south bound lane. The accident happened around North Port just south of Venice and north of Port Charlotte. The south bound lane of I-75 will be closed for at least 3 weeks for repairs to the overpass and roadway. The detour starts at exit 191 and gets back on at exit 179. The detour looks to be about 22 miles long as 12 miles of interstate is closed.
