New 3500RL owner

Hi, I would like to introduce myself and my wife. My name is
dick and my wife is Dorothy and we are from Overland Park, Kansas. We just purchased the 3500RL today and will be picking it up the 15th of this month. We are both retired and do volunteer work for the Army Corp of Engineers. This gives us free campingf for the summer. We have to dogs that love to camp. We saw the 3500RL at the RV show here in Knasas City and fell in love with it. I have been looking at the forum and have found very few negatives about the Montana line of RVs. We are looking forward to spending the sumer at the lake.
You all have a great day.
Dick

Welcome to the forum! You've picked a great Montana. We love the COE campgrounds and have plans to stay in them three times this summer already. Enjoy your summer. It sounds like it will be great!

Welcome to MOC! I know that I don't have a 5er (my pole building only has a 12 ft door) but if I did it would be a 3500! We love the french doors and the layout. This forum is a great place for learning and sharing. Please post your questions, answers, and camping expriences.

You have made a popular choice. Hope you get better than you expect from the unit. Welcome to Montana Land, a land of fine folk, sharing great information about a fine line of fivers. You sound like a couple with a plan. That is the way to stay healthy in retirement. Happy RVing....

Welcome Dick & Dorothy to the MOC family.
The 3500 is quite the rig. Having the French doors sets it apart from the rest of the Montys and when we decide to upgrade it will be at the top of the list.

Welcome aboard (from another newbie).
I may be in touch regarding the "secrets" of COE volunteering. I have read about it in articles and books, but will probably be asking you for the "inside story" when we're ready.

Dick and Dorothy, welcome to the Forum. COE campgrounds are among our favorite hangouts, and as I write this we are camped at one just northwest of Atlanta. Hope you enjoy your Monty.
