Extended Service Plans
I am looking at Good Sam, Protective Asset Protection and RV Elite Plus. Any ideas about which plan is the best? Thanks

You just need to read the plan and see what it covers then understand the terms of the contract. We had RV Shield for 7 years on our 06 3400 and had no problem using it and we did several times. We purchased the G.S product on this 13 big sky for a shorter term and it covered everything the RV shield product did. Remember they are NOT extended Warranties but a service plan that covers specific items under specific conditions and you must meet specific terms for service ..I would not be without one considering the replacement price of the items in the these Rv's

The only thing I will add to Rich's sage advice, is do not base your decision entirely on the price. Do your research and judge accordingly. You have started your research in a good place - here on the MOC! I will also state that if you deal primarily with one local dealer, it may well benefit you to see what plan they offer. The rationale behind this (I have purchased the local dealer plan on both of my last Montana's), is they will only sell from a company that they are familiar with and usually have a good working relationship with. I ask the dealer how long they have been working with the provider, and I make sure the dealer is responsible for the contacts, not me. If you travel and do not really have access to a specific local dealer, then this is a non-issue.

We have Good Sam's Continuing Service Plan (CSP) and think it's great for those whose original extended warranty has expired. Costs us $51.00/month and cover most things major including plumbing, holding tanks, hydraulics, etc. We have $200 deductible and the plan has covered its own cost.

When ever I purchase a new vehicle I always get an extended warrenty, however, for some stupid reason when I bought my Montana back in 2009 I did not buy any extended service plan. Is it too late now to add one?

No, you should be able to get onto the GS plan as well as others.
