Tire Pressure Sensor

We have a Ford F-450 with a 2019 Montana 3121RL and want to add tire pressure sensors. Do you have any recommendations regarding the best tire pressure sensors?

Pressure Pro. Have had them for years and they have saved my butt several times. Get them now or you will regret it when you have a shredded rt. rear tire on the interstate in the middle of nowhere.

Also, if you have not done it already, think about upgrading your tires from those cheap tires that come from Keystone. See the thread here about this. Good luck.

We also have the TST flow through system, and yes they have saved us a couple times. The only issue we have had, and this just happened the other day going through Quartzsite, is once in a while we pick up some sort of stray signal and the alarm goes off saying one of the tires is at around some 500 psi. I just turn it off and then back on again and all is good.

Tire TPMS systems operate in the same frequency range as wireless cameras. Mine interfered with each other so I did a hard wire for the camera. I have found TPMS still displays false warnings, especially when on congested freeways. Seems to go away in rural areas. Probably caused by other vehicles in close proximity.

I've had the TST system on my last three fifth wheels and trust it a lot. Even though nothing will stop a sudden blow out like what happened with my Goodyear G614 sidewall coming apart, the system notified me instantly as I heard the "boom". Wouldn't travel without one any longer.

TST. Worth the money. Check your pressure and temp of tires.

Does your F450 have factory TPS if so Ford has the system for the trailer.

Don’t think the F450 has TPS , ours doesn’t.
We have the TST flowthru on the trailer only.
Mounted the remote inside battery area as high as I could with Velcro.
Never lost signal in 4K miles last summer.

I've had good results from the Tire Minder TPMS. It uses a repeater to ensure good signal strength to the monitor. Since the OEM TPMS in my TV does not monitor each wheel separately, I added four more sensors on the TV for extra safety.

Tpm

We have the Truck Systems monitor and it works very good. Make sure you have steel valve stems installed; we have had two stems start leaking. Fortunately they go down slowly so had plenty of time to get stopped.

TST for us. Tire dealer damaged one and said they would pay to replace it. Called TST and they said they would ship it out right away. I asked how much. They replied - no charge. Very first trip years ago we had a sidewall bubble and noticed pressure dropping. Stopped and found the bubble. Saved us thousands in damage.

Tst

I’m a MOC member and TST dealer. If you haven’t purchased any yet, let me know and I can ship to you.
