Extended warranties are a bet. The insurance company is betting you want need the warranty and if so they win. You are betting you will use the warranty and if so you win. I haven't heard of any insurance company's going broke lately. I have the warranty and have used it once in 4 years. The previous 5th wheel was a piece of junk and i didn't have an extended warranty. If i were full time or traveled heavily like Richard then i think you would get your monies worth. Like i travel, not so much. I doubt i will come out ahead on this warranty but i am also buying peace of mind and that it worth something.
