Shower leaking

We put our Tana on a seasonal site in northern WI and it wasn't a pretty sight! Soft sand, slanted site and a road slanting the other way made for a difficult parking job. (I forgot to mention the trees in the way!)

We ended up with a cracked bathroom sink tail pipe and a leaky shower. Fixed the sink, replaced the plumbers putty on the shower drain, but we still have a shower leak. ( fixed the back bumper where we hit the tree!)

We think the shower is leaking from the joint between the wall and the tub surround. The fix will need to wait until next year as we winterized (did I really say that on Sept 7??) it before we left today.

Are there other places I should look for a leak from the shower??

Those drains are notorious for leaking. I would recommend bracing right underneath the drain an make sure all connections are tight. Also I used a rubber gasket.

I don't know what year and model Montana you have but many have at least one access panel on the vertical surround along the bottom of the tub. Ours has two. On ours I can see enough to usually get an idea where the problem is. Sometimes it requires a hand mirror and flashlight, though. Good luck. That doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

I've caulked everything I can think of to stop a leak in the corner of our shower to no avail...I'm thinking that I'm linking between the shower bottom and side panel. The panels hare attached with those plastic plugs with a center peg....is there a way to pop those off and actually pull the panel out to gain access behind it?
