Replacement for Bat-Wing Antenna

At the VA-Mid-Atlantic Rally I saw someone who had replaced their bat-wing antenna head with a compact head. I was told by "the lady of the house" that it was quite good if a bit pricey. I had seen an ad for this antenna several months ago, but I can't locate it anywhere, including Google (must be using the wrong search words).

Any help locating the maker, model number, etc would be graetly appreciated!

Thanks.

I'm still in a quandry as to why anyone has to do anything with their existing bat wing antenna. We're picking up the local digital stations just fine -- and clear as a bell. Very vivid picture from each channel. I think merchants are selling something that's not needed.

Orv,

On our 2006 3400 (built 10/2005), the batwing worked really well for digital, without having to turn on the 12v booster. On our 2009, we must use the booster. Did Weingard put in something to cause problems so they can sell a fix?

The local stations work pretty well as long as you're not too far away. However, a better antenna improves reception when you're in a fringe area. Also, when two of the local channels are separated by 90 degrees or so, a less directional antenna can save having to reorient it every time you change channels.
