Sailun truck tires
Hello,
Just bought from simple tire and tire king installed the Terramax AT, and if any one wants to know if there any good, they seem to be well made. There actually quiet on the road even being an all terrain tire. Minimal balance and ride better than my Nexen tires that they replaced. Got them on sale.

Due to the reputation if the Sailun S637 ST on the campers last year I put the Terramaxx 775/70/18 on my 2012 F350 4x2. I have put about 30,000 miles on them and am VERY happy with the outcome not to mention they were only $640 out the door to include mounting, balance, and alignment too for set of 4. The way they currently look to the naked eye I should get about 50,000 miles before replacement.Quiet and smooth ride!

Why would you give any of your hard earned money to Chinese? Especially what’s happening now. I’d rather spend the extra money & buy AMERICAN like Goodyear. Screw the chinese

As of late, they have been a superior tire for half the price.

I did the same thing but only needed two for the truck. Was able to get them in two days from a local tire dealer in Bonita Springs Fla. With the new tires on the front traveled 1400 miles home. Handled great, tracked great. They do seem to be a little noisier than the Michelins I had replaced, but not bad at all . $315.51 out the door for the 2 tires mounted, balanced, on the vehicle, and old tires disposed of.

I'll gladly pay more for made in USA. Not only tires, but everything.

I usually agree and usually do, but I put so many miles on this truck now I can't see paying 40% more for the tires I've been running for 18 years now. I may in fact go back, but when the US brands now don't last nearly as long as they used to, I thought I would try these. It very well bite me, but it was worth a shot.

You got the hard earned money correct, and yes it is "MY" hard earned money. Its not so much the extra money for me, its the quality of the tire . I don't want Goodyear tires period, there reputation is terrible. If you can suggest another G rated tire made in the US "WITH" the same reputation ,and track record of the Sailun S637's for our fifth wheels feel free to do so.
Screw the Chinese, can you honestly tell me there is nothing you have bought that is not foreign made in China , or elsewhere. You know what they say about "Living in a glass house ,and throwing rocks"
This is twice you have posted your sentiments, everyone understand now how you feel .

for his truck, anywhere from 15 to 25% Chinese parts,
For his RV probably 20-30%...
Almost all his clothes,
5% of his food,
all of his electronics/cell phone/computing devices..... (including the one he used to post his comment)
so yeah he's throwing stones in a glass house..... He knows it too.

Yes, for sure on that. We get a few on here that get on their soapbox for whatever reasons on this tire thing. Its not the first thats gone off on the China made Sailuns. If there was a comparable tire made in the US that was even close to price ,and quality of the Sailun ,then that would be my first choice. As far as I know there is not .

You might want to change your attitude towards the Chinese, at least for the time being, read this morning they donated 1000 ventilators to New York .

I think you have Sailun confused with Triangle.

I think the Marathons used to be, The G14's are definitely made in the US, as well as those new Endurance they came out with a couple years or so ago .
