I need to know the colors of the brake, tail, clearance lights on my Montana 3475.
I had them written down at one time but what I have done with them is a mystery. I think the running ligts are brown and that is what I neeed to get into. i don't wnat to just start cutting.

Etrailer.com has easy to read diagrams. RV basics.com is another source. If I remember correctly, running lights are green.

Your running lights run off the brown wire

I recently replaced our rear brake/tail/turn signal lights with LED units, and the wiring colors were not the standard you would expect. I connected the new lights, and the functions were backwards. You can get a 12 volt tester with a sharp point that can be used to puncture the insulation so you don't have to cut the wires.

Hi

Keystone doesn’t follow any wiring standards you will have to do some testing to figure out what wire goes where.

Led lights are different Aftermarket generally use the white wire for ground.
So if you touch the negative of the battery to ground and touch the red to the battery positive you will see the intensity difference by touching the other wire to the positive. The brighter one will be your turn or brake which will go to the standard trailer wiring for the individual turn signal. The less brighter one will go to your running lights generally Brown.
