Replacing door & Hatch locks after theft???

Some punks stole my car and in it was a set of my 2014 Monty keys. Is it hard to replace the front door lock and the two hatches???

They are not hard to replace. I replaced the door lock assembly. Think it cost me about $50 and took about 20 minutes start to finish. The hatch locks on mine are just cam locks and takes about 5 minutes each. I have no experience with the slam latches but can't believe they are that difficult. Jim

Same here, the longest period was waiting for the locks to come.

You can get the front door lock assembly thru faster, for around 25 bucks, your choice black white or chrome. Unscrew the lock assembly, phone and model number in there. Compartment door locks available from any rv dealer.

i ordered directly from Fastec Industrial You can replace just the lock cylinders. I keyed all my storage doors and the passage door to the same key. A special key comes with the new cylinders as well as instructions.

Not to be lazy...well OK i'm being lazy but my unit is in storage and I was wondering if.....

Does anybody know the length of the barrel locks on a 2008 3600RE? I imagine the barrel locks for the storage compartments would be the same for any unit around that year model. I'm looking to buy the keyed alike entry door and compartment locks. Thanks!

Don't waste your time replacing the compartment locks. They are all the same and use the same key - and even if they didn't you can get in to them with a big screwdriver. Damage getting in will probably cost more to fix than whatever was inside.

Hope it's ok to share this link. We're replacing our locks and found the information helpful. It has a reference chart to various locks.

Why bother, all the RV locks are pretty much the same. There are some locks. You can buy locks that are not OEM, and you have a little better security system.

After our Montana got broke into (they smashed the window), I installed SimpliSafe, with 7/24 monitoring. Had the system installed for 3 months now, very pleased. See following post for more info.

I have to replace the door lock because only the deadbolt works. Plus the barrel locks get stuck sometimes and the keys are all twisted now. I was going to go with the "no master key" option from the guys
