Walking inside on retracted slider carpet edge ??

One of the things which we did this weekend was to unbolt and rotate the DR table so that we would have a bit more room. Pushed the end against the end window and it gives us a lot more floor space. (We don't need 4 chairs and only use 2). We can now get to the frig when the slider is closed. Will rebolt the table in new spot once we have found the answer to our question. Know that you must have had this question before--but haven't been able to find answer. So here it is again--

Can you walk on the slider edge when it is retracted without doing any damage?? Would like to be able to occasionally get to frig without doing a manual open out of one slider or the general open out of all sliders. Has anyone done this with regularity? Are there any words from Keystone on this practice?? Thanks in advance

I have the same unit and got rid of the two extra chairs. I turn my table as you describe when I tow. I have done exactly what you are asking, walked to the fridge with the slides retracted. I called Keystone and talked to Service and was told there should not be a problem.

I'm still very careful how and where I walk and don't do it a lot.

I walk on my slide often when it is retracted. I just try and not step on the edge and step a few inches back.

I changed my table and chairs for a booth dinette since it is easier for my toddler to sleep on versus trying to confine her on the sofa bed.

I too turned my table when I had it, I just put the extra chairs behind the table. I did not screw the table back to the floor and didn't have any problems with it moving. I did strap the chairs to the table though.
