Anyone Using Techonsha J3

Not sure that I got the spelling right but saw the 'newest' brake controller at an RV show today -- upgrade / higher than the Prodigy. Wondering if anyone is using one and what you think of it?

Reason for my question is that I have Hydraulic over electric brakes on my 5th wheel (had heavier duty axles and disc brakes installed in Goshen last September) I'm just wondering if J3 is a better unit for them - the box printing leads me to believe it has circuitry specifically for electric and then hydrualic over electric.

Thanks in advance.

I think it's the P3. I've had the P3 since last June. It is essentially the Prodigy with a few more bells and whistles including ability to do electric over hydraulic. Once I got it set I didn't have to adjust it again, just like with the Prodigy. I do not have electric over hydraulic brakes, however.

I'm happy with the P3. I don't think it's any better or worse than the Prodigy but if you need the electric over hydraulic, then the P3 is an excellent choice in my opinion.

Steve - Thanks. By the way, Wade at Dick Edward's keeps reminding me that they have a new truck for me... I keep telling them I'm waiting for you to report 100K miles? Don't think he remembers that you're now in a Dodge ,

Probably not. Tell Jim Jacobia hi for me. He was my salesman the last two Fords. I think my brother told him we went to a Dodge. Jim's a really nice guy.
