Fifth Airborne

Having a Fifth Airborne king pin put on the 3400RL, what setting do you guys set yours to and how hard are they to change. Going to pick up rig this week and would appreciate any info. Thanks for all your great help and suggestions.

When I had a 5th Airborne, I pumped it up to the line indicated, under load, on the shock. That is all the setting there is unless I am missing something.

Just bring it to a line that they have printed. It is simple to keep there. If needed, just add air. As easy as adding air to a tire.

There is another setting guys - look at the manual!

The airbag position setting is only used if you can't get to the line on the shock without inflating the bag >120psig. You have to unhitch, take it apart and reposition the airbag.

There is also the height setting, as the airborne is slightly taller than some standard pinboxes.

I won't. These are the same air bags as I have on the back of my truck and I won't remove those either.

We do the same as others, just check to see that while loaded it rests on the line...now Brad went and made it complicated...guess I have to get the manual out and see what I'm doing wrong.

I installed one on our Mountaineer. Very easy install. I left the bag in the second slot where it came from the factory, but have read where other's are experimenting and moving the bag to different holes to check for different ride's.
