Stress Crack

We recently purchased a 2001 2880 Montana and after 7000 Miles now I noticed the crack in the side of the front like where the goose neck goes down that has gotten bigger. A fellow camper on the road told me of a possible recall to repair this with a retrofit corner plate. Can anyone help with this problem?

I have this crack on the left corner of the bedroom slide. I have a 2001 2850RK. It has been growing very slowly. We have a bit over 20,000 miles on it now. How do I go about getting it fixed?

If it is in the area of where the trailer king pin is..... or anywhere except by the bedroom slide..... then you need to get it into a dealer ASAP! The frame crack is nothing to mess around with! Get it in and checked and fixed. Keystone should take care of the entire thing. You can do a "search" here on the forum and read some of the many posts regarding this issue. Lot's of good info.

Ralph11, first check with your dealer. If no satisfaction, call (don't email) Keystone. They have been fixing these by installing an expansion joint (the new ones come with this) as John mentioned but they also drop the pan under the overhang and check for any frame problems. They've been fixing these at no charge even though under warranty and not the first owner. Several in this forum have been through this and were satisifed with Keystone and the results.
