2009 Ford Interior

Has anyone else seen the pics of the 2009 Ford 150 interiors. I saw them this AM on the Fox News website linked with Freeality/news.com. They are about the most stylish I have seen on the market, lots of leather and wood treatments. Ford is really getting serious about their market share, good for them!

John, you are killing me! I haven't got all the dealers finger prints off my '08 yet.
I have had Chevy's most of my adult life, the last 4 have been Fords, I do like the interiors on them, Chevy's are nice, I just like the Ford's better. I like the way the driver's and pass. windows drop down by the mirror a little also. I haven't seen the '09 yet, I bet they are nice.

The 150 is Fords bread and butter truck. I doubt if there will be much change in the 250/350 line.

On CNN this morning they had pictures of the new F150 and the new Dodge Ram. Like Ozz, my Dodge isn't even broken in yet and here comes even better. They did not show interior pictures, though. I really like the 2008 Ford interior. And I like the Dodge interior of my vintage Dodge even though the pundits claim it's outdated. Looks good to me. But maybe I'm outdated, too.

Les- Should never have shown that louvered tailgate on the new Dodge! It's going to start an all new thread again! LOL

Think I'll go for the International, don't need a tailgate on it.

C5racer,
Thanks for the links, the Fords are looking good. Plus they will have a small block diesel available, in a year or so, in the F150.

Richfaa is right. The article stated that the F150 is the flagship of the Ford truck line and that the interior improvements are an aim to keep their corner on this size truck market share. The four door crew cab styles are the most popular now and the interior was the next obvious way to hold the line for Ford.

Val and I bought the 2008 3500 Chevy which had already undergone a interior restyling. We could not turn down the trade they offered for our 2004 GMC 3500 and the newer style interior was really nice. I wanted the six speed tranny and Val wanted a more stylish, comfortable inside. Must admit that new Ford looks awful good inside though. Hope they can carry it over the whole line.

Ford was elnumero uno for years. The past few years it has really dropped the ball. Especially engine wise. If Ford and Its dealerships don't get on the ball they are going to lose out to H-(cough, gag, sputter). guess I am to aold fashioned American
