We are going to purchase one of those..We have the information. We drive these things hard and most any repair is very costly.

Gee, I went online and the option I chose was not available "for this VIN#", so I called Ford for a quote. Well, my VIN# is not in the system, so they can't give me a quote. Grrrrr, I hate it when the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I do not know you guys realize that extended plan kicks in after the new vehicle warranty expires. That means if we have 3y/36k miles and 5y/60k miles with a new vehicle and purchase ESP of 7y/100k miles, we would get only 4 years and 64k miles extra bumper to bumper warranty and then only years and 40k miles extra on the power-train. The top of the line ESP is around $ 4000.00 with no deductible.

My daddy told me never insure anything you can afford to lose. I have extended that to figuring probabilities and I think I will keep the money in my pocket. Remember it is like any other insurance program. Before you buy you are betting there won't be a problem and they are betting there will. When you buy, you switch sides.

Ford and all make many millions selling these, along with BestBuy, Sears et all. They know the pay out way less than what they bring in. Sure nice to have if a motor went though.
