LP or GAS Generator ?

We just bought a 2004 36'10" Montana (HUGE), we are trying to decide if we should go LP or GAS. I hear that LP is really a hog on fuel (can use as much as two 30lb tanks in a weekend!). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Dave
