Tire Air Pressure

Should truck tire pressure be set at maximum as stated on the tire when towing?

Should psi on trailer be at maximum when pulling even though you are not carrying at gross weight?

I hear two trains of thought: One is max on both no matter what, the other is within range of load.

Happy Trails!
