With our 3585SA which has the fridge in the back, we make sure the fridge and freezer doors are closed tightly. Opened up the main slide after a trip and noticed the far side of the slide wasn't moving but the side near me was. Quickly stopped and the slide had just caught the freezer door. No damage to the freezer door but it screwed up the position of the slide when it is extended. Need to get that readjusted one day.

I too have adjusted the cabinet doors, they really snap shut tight now, also added more of those round felt cushions around all of the doors, they close and sound nice now. I always hate cabinet doors slamming together.

Well, I spent big on a roll of 50 Velcro strap for $5 and my buddy who can fix anything for a good bottle of wine repaired my door so well you have to look close to see it was damaged. I should have a new door coming in January, but for now I've survived this crisis.

I just bought the child safety locks and they work well. The biggest problem we had is the pantry doors next to the frig. The sales rep caught that one when he opened the slide for us. They fixed the door, but we are now very conscious of those doors before we open the slides. But, I put the locks on all the doors just to be safe.

Well, here's some good news. Keystone shipped me a new cabinet door panel and it arrived today. I certainly appreciate them treating this as a warranty issue. All I have to do is transfer the door hardware to the new panel and I'll be set. I would recommend Keystone include some Velcro straps on their doors that are subject to being caught by a slide if the door pops open during transit. No matter how well designed and constructed, the doors will come open some time and I'd let the owner decide if they want to remove the Velcro, then any issues are on the owner.
