Well I went and traded

I am now an offical member of this site. I went and traded my 2011 Cougar 327RES Tuesday for a Montana 3625 RE 2014, which my wife fell in love with instantly. Never thought she would give up her Cougar but she saw this one before they got it cleaned up, told the saleman to lock it up she was buying it.
Does anyone else own one of these? Have a lot to learn as this is a big upgrade from the Cougar. Will pick it up Saturday after they get it ready and my satelite installed. Really like the new colors and graphics they have for this year. Look forward to moving to this site. Joe

Congratulations on the new fifth wheel, Joe. I too, came from a Cougar (mine was a TT). Welcome to the site. There is a lot of knowledge here, that's for sure.

We upgraded from a Sprinter (also a Keystone) to our Montana in 2006. We are quite happy we are now fiver owners. It's an easier tow and more manuerable than that old bumper tow. Even with the trailer about 8 or 10 feet longer because of the fiver overlap, we think we are better off. The newer Montys are nice, but too big and too heavy for my TV so we'll stay happy with ours.

What hitch will you be getting?

It is the same one we had with the Cougar a 16 thousand Reese slider.

Congratulations on your new rig. Your's is the current version of our floor plan with what they learned from the input of those of us who owned the older models included. We love ours and your's has several improvements over ours. May it help you make many years of wonderful memories.

Welcome to the family. We don't have that floor plan but that is the one that my wife really wants. Told her she would have to wait a year or two. I know that you will enjoy it. Now come to one of the rallies and enjoy your new family. Safe travels.

Congrats! We have the 3400RL but if we were to trade the 3625 is definitely a floor plan we would consider. Hopefully we'll see you down the road.

Congrats and safe travels!

We have the 2012 3625re and love it. No major issues. Did notice last week that a few staples are sticking out in the closet.

We did upgrade our wheels and tires to have a larger safety margin.

Hope you enjoy yours!

We bought a 2013 3625 last fall. Love the large ref. and floor plan. I added a second A/C unit in the bedroom myself. It was a penquin 13,500. The main unit just couldn't do it in hot weather. I had a problem with collapsed return ducts in the living room. There have been some other posts on this issue. Other than that we love it. I did upgrade the wheels and tires just as bigsky3625 said. I put on alcoa 17.5 wheels with goodyear H rated tires. The wheels are hub piloted and are over kill but I would rather have to much than not enough when it comes to tires and wheels
