Commode replacement
I am going to install a Dometic 310 in place of an older Sealand, the inlet water line on 310 is on opposite side, is the waterline extender kit all that I will need?

In most cases, one will have to change the height of the water in or be able to change the side to side distance to mate up with the water in to the toilet. On my 3800 going from tetford to dometic 320, I had to cut down the pex pipe behind the toilet as well as the need to have a sideways shift to mate up to the toilet input. I bought the appropriate pex connections from Lowes in order to accomplish both of these needs and made my own adapter. Don't know where the inlet was on your sealand, but I do know that the 310 inlet is low on the left side. Don't know what the kit can do. Maybe someone who knows about the Dometic 310 and the kit can give you some advice. John

If the kit won't do it, a little bit of pex and a couple of shark bites should solve the problem easily for you.

A flex Line from Home Depot and a PVC slice coupler to tie the flex line to the toilet is all I needed. There was no need to cut any existing water line.

I replaced a Sealand unit in a previous unit with the 310. I picked up a short adapter at a RV supply store, no problems

I replaced my toilet with the Dometic 310 with hand sprayer. I didn't buy the Dometic 320 as it would not have fit in the tight confines of the toilet room. Checked out the dimensions online and the 320 extends to the rear deeper than the 310. One new piece of hardware I came across at Home Depot was a flexible reinforced water line that ran from the old PEX piping to the toilet and had a Sharksbite type valve on the end where I could shut the toilet off in the future if required. I ran into the same issue with alignment of the toilet inlet vs the PEX plumbing. Fortunately with a little looping of the flexible water line it all came together.
