Purchase of 2008 3465SA
Friends of ours are looking at a used Montana. What can you tell me about a 2008 Montana 3465SA? Have you heard of any problems? It sat at a campground for 4 Years and has about 300 miles of road time. The trailer has been kept up well inside and out. The decals are coming off and we need to have slide covers put on. They're are asking $26.950.00 for the trailer, They are thinking about offering $25.000.00. What do you all think.
Thanks in advance.

That sounds like a great price.

Go to our website; Camping World of Fayetteville , N C. We have about 10 used ones in stock. You might be able to derive an answer from the NADA website also. The price you quoted is just above average and as you know, a nice used Monte is valuable. One negative is that it is seven years old and the banks will not finance them after ten years. Good hunting! If you like, PM me and we will chat.

I'll also mention a thought, this being from the car business. The retail price you pay is after the needed repairs or maintenance is done. Being 7-8 years old, tires need to be considered, some equipment (frig, hot water heater, batteries, roof) is approaching the end of their service life. Interest rates, loan length, will make the payments on a used unit about the same as a new one.
Good Luck shopping.

Thanks, Larry and jlb27537. I am really not sure what our friends will do, but I did notice someone posted about what looks like the same rig.
