Cleaning question

Hello all, went out to do a quick wash last evening on the trailer because we are using it again this weekend. I normally leave it sitting in an uncovered spot by my shop if we are going to be using it soon instead of putting it in the covered area we have. Fitting it into the covered area takes a bit of time because of the tight fit (only about 6 inches of clearance on each side). Anyway, while washing it last night I ran into something I had not seen before. The back outside "window sill" (8-10 inch lip at the bottom of the back picture window) had a few small leaves and other small tree parts laying on it for a a few days. I washed all the loose stuff off with the hose easily, but where some of that stuff was laying there were some brown stains on the sill. I used my washing brush and my RV wax/soap and they did not come off. I then went and got my black streak remover and still, they did not come off. They are much lighter in color now, but I still would like to get them all the way off. Any ideas on how to clean stains like that off of the fiberglass? And yes, I am going to take the extra time to get it into the covered area from now on. It still gets some stuff on it there, but not as much. Thanks! -Glenn

Try a wax that also has a cleaner in it, or WD40, or Mr Clean cleaning sponge.

I use turtle wax products for cars and they seem to work.

Ohhh...I forgot about the Magic Eraser! Those things clean anything! I bet that will work. Thanks Steve (and Dick).

Meguiars #50 first. If still there, Meguiars #49, then Meguiars #56.

Wow, just noticed I was logged in with the incorrect user name. I wondered what happened to my MOC number. Does anyone know how to delete a user name that was made up kind of by accident?

Glenn, you have to contact an Administrator or a Moderator to see if you or they can eliminate the name. It's not an easy process but can be done. I've known several that have done it! Good Luck!
