Brand new! Not even one month

We just bought or Montana 3610 rl legacy . We were going to go across the country. Due to bad weather back east we only made it to Albuquerque. So beside the water heater not working on electric, thetford toilet not holding water, chipping front cap,we had some other issues as well. First, I flooded the Rv by filling the bathroom sink and forgetting it was on. Then, while parking the other day,I noticed big scratches down the side. Some one side swiped us! I used polish and got much of the scratches out, however the tank vent got ripped off and the moulding to the rear cap was damaged!! Also, while backing at a park in Black Canyon Arizona, they have little wooden posts,. My dually fender got scratched by the wood post. We have only been doing this for 22 years...this trip with our most expensive Rv is turning into a disaster..

Sorry to hear about all the misfortune! Here's prayers that the rest of the trip will be uneventful.

Our 2015 was perfect for the first 30 days and then we experienced more issues than the other three put together. But onceweworked thru those (except for a dead frig that goes into the dealer next week), our unit has been trouble free past 5 months down here in Florida. Yours will be too, after those initial burbs. Hopefully nobody else will hit you. Enjoy your travels and stay safe. PS, the dually scratches are on you!

It could always be worse. You could have ripped the fender off the truck, punctured both tires and cause it to lean to one side, and then roll over against a tree where it would have punctured the roof, etc etc etc....

God does love you and these things happen for reasons we sometimes never figure out, maybe it delayed you on your travels and saved you from a horrific accident!

Things can be repaired but lives cannot be replaced.

Things can and will get better, you just hit a rough patch as we all do from time to time.

One day I sat sad and blue. A voice came to me it said cheer up things could be worse. So I cheered up and sure enough things got worse.

I had just bought the wife a new car 2 years ago and she let me drive it to work to show it off after having it 4 days! On the way home a raccoon ran out in front of me and it did 3k worth of damage to the car, so I feel for ya!

We had a whole season like that a few years ago. Everytime we left it was a break down. But.... We got through it and still rv'n and love it. Us campers are resilent. Welcome to the MOC!

The items you described are things, which can be fixed/replaced. No one injured (other than pride). Things will get better. Enjoy your trip.
