To New Iberia, LA to experience our very first "Cajun Thanksgiving," complete with "turducken". Met these folks last spring up in PA where they were work-kamping and became good friends. When the invite came, we thought it would be a great idea. Since we're wintering over in Foley, AL, it's only about a 300 mile trip. Sounds like fun!

Trukdoc,

It isn't Galveston, but Surfside Beach had an RV park that is open.

Call and see if the State Park is open. It has E/W and a dump station. I don't know how hard it may have been hit, but it is on the beach behind the dunes.

You could also check around Freeport, as they were spared. It's just bad timing this time of year to find a spot, but they are there.
