Finally On The Road

My wife and I joined the forum about a year ago. Since then we have been working to be able to go fulltime on the road. We found and purchased the fifth wheel,(NEW-left over 2011 Montana Mountaineer 347THT). Ordered & picked up the TV, (2015 Chevy 3500HD Dually). We were finally able to sell the house on 10/24/2015. We split all our belongings between the kid. Gave a Ton to Goodwill. We call it the
"Reading of the Will", just a little early. We loaded the cats (2), the motorcycle and are now heading south with no real destination in mind. After 20 years in the Navy and 27 years on the job we are finally able to relax. So far, so good. Really looking forward to the future.

Congratulations! We did it a year ago and love the lifestyle. We are on our second winter in FL. Spent the summer traveling IN, MI, NY, and PA. We, too, don't plan our trips more than a couple of weeks in advance. Just fly by the seat of our pants. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum from a fellow sailor. Thanks for your service. We've been FT for 2.5 years, though I am still working. Have done Texas the last 2 winters, doing the gulf states this winter. Enjoy your rig and lifestyle.
