Greetings to the membership

Just a quick note introducing ourselves, We are North of Seattle Washington and spend about 60 days a year in our RV and still manage to work full time. We spend a lot of time at the ocean and fly fishing in Montana. We ordered a 2005 2980RL 3 slide and hope it will arrive here in the next week or two. We had a lot of trailers to choose from and we "hope" this new Montana will serve our need for several years to come. Our kids are all raised so it's just the two of us with our black miniature schnauzer puppy. Are there any delivery items I should be checking for prior to taking delivery of this new trailer? Any chronic problems to watch out for? Factory flaw items? I look forward to hearing from you all. Thank you... William and Trina Robinson.... Princess Lexi, too!

WE_Robinson.... welcome to the MOC family!

I did a search of previous discussions on here (see "search" at the top right of the page) and was able to come up with a link to a "PDI" list for you. There might even be more previous discussions on this topic.
Almost any topic you want information on can be found by using the search button.

Here's the link to the PDI list:

Click here for the PDI List

A few members had also sent their PDI list to their dealers before the big inspection day so the dealers would be aware of what the new owners would be looking for and they say it really helped.

Congratulations on your purchase and keep us informed.

Welcome aboard William and Trina! (oh, and Princess Lexi too) Know you will really enjoy your 2980! We just love our's. Only concern we have had is leakage in the dinette slide. Waiting for a Wisconsin rain to find out if dealer was able to fix the problem. Otherwise our Monty has been just great! Many happy trails to you .....

Welcome to the forum. Check everything...twice. We had a very good experience with your purchse. Have the dealer set it up with all systems functional. Spend as much time as you need in it on the lot before you leave with it.

Welcome to the Forum. It's a great source of information of all kinds. You live in beautiful country up there in the Pacific NW. I spent 6 years - - mostly in the Gig Harbor area, and long to get back that way for part of every year. We hope to be full timing by 2nd quarter 2005 - - and would love to stay near the beach at La Push!! Happy travels.
