Kerry,

I placed the switches on the bathroom wall close to the original switches on the opposite side by the sink (3 on yours I believe). You can power the new switches from the 12V feed to the original switches.

I ran two new switched wires up the wall to the bathroom light (I used the original wires as a means to repull the new wires up the wall.

The original 12V switch feeds the bathroom light first, then the hall. Separate the bathroom light from the circuit and connect to one of the new switched 12V wires you just pulled in. Remove the original 12V power to the fan and feed it from the other new switched 12V wires you just pulled in (pull in ceiling from light).

All done.

I got the original type switches through PPLMotorhomes, but you can also get them through your Dealer.

Here are some pics of mine (scroll down towards bottom). Mine was a little different as I have a fantastic fan instead of the 12V vent fan. The fantastic fan actually requires a switch leg to ground to allow the vent lid to close when it is shut off.

Kerry,

It was good meeting you at the dealer the other day, but I must say in all seriousness that I have nothing but pangs of jealousy since you are enjoying Myrtle and I am not. But I find solace in the thought that we will be pulling to neighboring Lakewood in a couple of weeks. Save me some sun and sand please!! Here's to your good times and relaxation.

Bingo

Brad, Thanks for the info on the wiring. I'm sure others appreciated it too. Well I'm back from the Beach, now to fine tune a few things to my liking like you did. Liked your pictures, Kerry
