Quartzsite 2024 parting comments

Thanks to everyone who attended Quartzsite. We had a great time visiting with friends and making new friends. Sorry we had to leave early Tuesday and did not get to say goodbye to everyone, but had an 8am appointment at RV Lifestyles to get generator problem diagnosed.

For those that are interested, the generator was not an easy fix as we hoped. They spent a few hours on it, cleaned the stator and brushes; no luck. Looks like might be a rotor. The part was at least 5 days out ($750+ labor) and then a few days to install it; so that was not going to work. I'll fix it myself when we get home; new project. Worse case; we just gained a bunch of storage space.

RV Lifestyles was great; recommend them. They spent a few hours on this and charged me 1/2 hour labor. Told me they thought it was a good idea to take it home and proceed from there.

See everyone down the road.

Alta & Scott

Scott,

Thanks for a great rally. Everyone looks for something different in rallies. I really enjoy the laid back slower pace of our Q rallies and consider it one of the best of all the MOC rallies.

Thanks, Scott and Alta for hosting. We are still enjoying the desert ambiance (until Monday). Enjoy the rest of winter. It looks like Old Man Winter is wanting us to stay in the desert longer as we have snow forecast for the first half of February. Safe travels to all.

Thanks Scott and Alta for hosting the Quartzsite 2024 rally. We had so much fun meeting and hanging out with all our new friends! We can't wait to see all of you (and some hopefully sooner) again next January.
