Remote Thermostat

I would like to thank all those good folks out there who forged the way for us newer Montana owners to get the CCC upgrade and rid ourselves of the dreaded Remote Stat. I e mailed Dometic a couple more times last month and they called me a few days later. I explained the problem they have heard a thousand times and mentioned all the discussions on this website and they authorized sending the new CCC unit to the dealer. They said they cannot send the units to the end users anymore due to problems, but the dealer worked with me and it did not cost me anything. Dometic was very nice to deal with and understood the problem.
Thank you again all you remote "pioneers", Dometic, and Keystone. They are listening to us on this site.

I second that. Because of this web site i was able to head this problem off when we ordered our monty.

We also got our new CCC when we arived in Yuma. It has been great. We can leave our Monty and not worry about what may happen when we are gone. We had the timer problem that would turn the furnace and air conditioner on at the same time. We love our new CCC.
