'14 3402RL Where is the actual black dump valve?

Mine has a cable running to the side access panel, but I am not sure it is opening all the way and I want to get under there and verify that when I pull the handle, it is opening all the way up and not catching "stuff" at the valve.

I am sure that it is up under the underbelly, but will I need to take that entire thing off to get to the valve for inspection, or can I just peel back a little bit, and at which point should I attack this?

Your black tank is on the same side of your rig as the toilet, so that would be the door side. The black and grey tanks are aligned front to rear, and the drain valves on both are at the rear of the tanks. You can get to the valves by removing some of the black coroplast from the rear and some of the side. The black valve has the cable assembly leaving the valve toward the convenience center on the opposite door side.

Thanks a bunch for the detailed description!

Well, found the valves, exactly where you said!

Appears that the gray is working fine, the black is staying open all the time.

It does not flow constantly, due to stuff blocking the exit hole, but as soon as I turn on the tank flusher, everything lets loose and comes rushing out. So, not completely "broken" but I will need to replace or fix that valve.

I just replaced all three of my valves with Valterra valves. The biggest problem I saw was Keystone pays no attention to valve manufacture's advice on minimum radius and tying down cable. The sink cable had such a sharp radius I'm surprised it worked at all. I had to drill a new hole for the pull by the tire to lesson the radius.

Here is a link to where I bought valves for ours: https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-TC37...4J4Q8G64JZWX22

I replaced both my gray and black tank valves with these sand they both operate effortlessly compared to what came on the rig originally. It is not a difficult job, but will take a little time. If you can have someone help you it would be nice, but it can be done by one person.
