Tires

Well i need 2 new tires as keystone replaced the rear 2 at 4900 miles so now the front pr has about 14000 miles on but do i have to change all 4 or can i just change the front 2 and next winter the rear 2 or do i get 1 new mission and take the spare and run all mission for 1 more year and then junk all 4 at once. john
i will be at the tampa show so if you have 1 new bring it as i will buy it

If you ar asking for advice, mine would be to junk the Missions and go with something else as I did after having two tires go bad. Your decision, of course.

BTW: Tireco paid for 4 new tires, but I wasn't going to take a chance anyway. If they had not paid I still would have replaced them.

I recommend that you replace both tires on the same axle. I have a four year rotation. My tires are the same as my TV. I replace the steering wheels on my TV and then simply push the tires back and the back trailer axle goes off as the exchange. Works for me.

I agree with changing both on a single axle. You don't need to change the tires on the other axle if they are ok. I once mixed tires on an axle and it caused axle alignment problems. Surprised me but that's what I was told happened. And the differing rolling resistance causing the problem makes some sense. If you don't change both on an axle, just be sure both are identical size, tread pattern, load range. Which probably also means same brand.
