shower units
Can someone explain to me the difference between a garden tub with glass enclosure and a neo-angle shower in the Montana and how can I tell the difference looking at a picture. thanks in advance

The Garden tub is a fair amount larger & it has a deeper base and would work like a shallow bath.
Our last trailer had a garden tub and I wish this one did.
I'm a pretty big guy and the extra room was great.

J&D is right,
The shower measures 33" from the corner to the glass going either direction. The garden tub measure 37", so it has a larger footprint.
You do have to step up more to get into the garden tub option.
The shower has the valves at about chest height on the wall. The garden tub has the valves down on the tub in the corner.
After having the shower in our old Monty, the first thing I noticed about the garden tub in our new Monty is the shower hose is too short (60"). Too far of a run from the lower valve position to the top of my head. I have a new 72" hose waiting to be installed.

The two previous posts pretty well described the differences. I prefer the neo-angle shower vs the tub. I do not like the high step to get into the tub, or the water valves being down by your feet. I am over 200+ lbs and stand 6'+ feet tall, there is more than enough room for me in the neo-angle shower.

it just depends what your looking for. If you have young kids (or grandchildren) that may want to use it for a small bath tub, it would work for it.

That short shower hose can be removed from the round guide on the wall - that helps a little. Someone posted they use the guide for a disposable razor now.

Another difference is that with the neo-shower, you will get a enough room for a privacy curtain and rail. With the tub, which we love, there is not enough room in our 3400 for the rail to be installed on the ceiling - therefore, no privacy curtain.

I have the garden tub in the Monty. In the SOB TT I had the shower setup. I think I like the shower better. I remember reading a post on the MOC from someone who used the round guide thingy for their razor. As soon as I set up the bathroom, I removed the shower hose from the guide and put my razor in it. It's been through six states and back...hasn't fallen out once.

We really like the garden tub, I too am over 6'2" what I did to get more shower hose was to cut a small piece out of the guide so I can take the hose out of it. Works great. grandson takes a bath in it.....Pete

When we did our PDI the tech told us about cutting the guide so you can take the hose in and out of it. The tub is small but would be good for small children and pets. In looking at the pictures you may not recognize it as a tub. I don't like the high step in but that is what we have and we will live with it.

There is no need to do any cutting on the guide to release the hose. Just unscrew the shower head, slip the hose out of the guide and attach the head again!

The idea of cutting the guide is you can put the hose back in if you want to. Since I am short I put the head down on the guide and it works for me.

The position of the shower head on our 3400 was such that I got a face full of water. So I got Steve to put another hose-holder-thingy a little lower and to the left of the original. Now I can have the shower head at a more reasonable height for me and Steve has the option of either holder. We also took our hose out of the lower hose-holder-thingy to make it easier to spray the shower walls.
