Chuck and Sherri,
The Desert Sunset carpet in the midyear 2007 design is lighter tan or beige than what you will see in previous versions. Just part of the overall changes to the design including wood, counters, hardware, linoleum, etc. Also the fabric and valances have changed slightly, even though it is still called Desert Sunset. The picture I posted is the latest.

Thanks Brad,
We don't really want a light carpet, not with grandchildren. It is hard to know exactly what color the carpet and day and night shades are. In one model the day and night shades were brown and white. Very nice.

I know what you mean about the kids. Unfortunately, I thing there is only one color carpet now, regardless of the decor.
Never noticed before, but you're right, the Saphire uses a different color shade.
