Floor nails popping up?

Not sure if this is a proper description of our problem. Where the carpeting starts at the bedroom we are finding nails/staples popping up. We have tried hammering them down as we find them but more seem to "pop" up. The floor seems to be stable so not sure if it's the sub floor or the carpeting. Has any one else experienced this? We will take it in after this trip and fortunately it's the only problem we have experienced.

I think you are finding carpet and pad staples/nails due to the wheels on the bottom of the bed moving the carpet back and forth. The subfloor is nailed to the steel frame in the gooseneck area using special nails. If you look at the underside of the floor in the passthrough, you may see a couple that missed the steel tubes. I have several like that! You may want to look at the underside of the bedframe near the foot on each side to make sure the wheels are still there. I lost one on one side and the other side was ready to fall off as they used short metal screws instead of much longer wood screws when mine was built. John

Thx John, will check that out. Either way it goes to the dealer when we get home.
