Basement Radio
We have added a 12 volt radio & CD player to the basement, we went with a 12 volt so we have a radio all the time. It's more convenient and out of the way.

Nice idea! Also wondering where you put the speakers. I have a marine AM/FM/CD in the garage with no home. I think it might work well there, and it's even splash proof.

I knew someone would ask that question, but two in a row? For now, I have the speaker wires running from the radio and just hang the speakers outside but, will someday mount them some place.

I added a 22" flat screen with a DVD player down in the basement on a swing bracket.
I have Directv,so anytime I want to listen to the radio I just tune into XM radio on directv.

Well, since you have the money, search for "wireless speakers." You don't have to mount them, just put them where ever you want when outside, like on picnic table, or hanging under picnic table.

Well after the last 3 mo. of the stock market, now no money . That is why we didn't put in wireless speakers, we will be lucky to get to TX.

Larry,
Just stay longer in CG places until the next SS check comes in. That's what I do.
Also, try the no interest for 6 months.(Do that still have that?)

I'm curious as to how you routed the antenna cable?

For now we have the antenna hanging from the ceiling of the basement and the speakers sitting any where. I had to stop on this project as we are packing the camper and closing the house up. Will have to finish this project in TX.
