Digital Tuner Bandits.

Back when they first started this conversion stuff the word was that the boxes would not cost more than 10.00 after you used your certificate. Up here in far northern Wisconsin the "local" distributors are getting 30 to 40 bucks after the certificates. Their usual line of BS is that it is all shipping. On top of that most of them have waiting list with 60 to 110 names on them. What are they charging where you are and are they in short supply?

Radio Shack. $50.00 Minus the $40.00. You might try online as some places have free shipping.

Here in Virgina, you can get them at Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Radio Shack and Wal Mart. Most are $50 and up. There's no waiting -- they're on the shelves. I would advise reading the reviews before you buy. Some have better tuners than others and the features are all over the map.

Walmart is selling them for 49.95. With the 40.00 card from the govt, the unit is only 9-10.00 each. Remember, you have to have a digital receiver for each TV in the RV or you will be watching the same station. Each receiver comes with its own remote transmitter. If you have satellite TV, you won't need a digital receiver on that set. Or if your unit has the new HDTVs, there is no need for a receiver on those either.

Internet! Al purchased, it is a Dish product, he is very happy with it, small, lots of features, that I don't remember, but he loves! HA HA. Sorry, not sure of the price, but it was NOT $40 PLUS the coupon. There was a small back order/delay, but not that long, maybe 10 days.

Actually I don't really need the receivers for either of the rig tvs I was just getting them for the stick house tvs. If I can find them for 10 or so bucks after the coupon I will get two and if the stick house sells soon then I will have them with us in case another MOCer we meet on the road needs one... Ah, the robber barons are at work again! I bought mine at WalMart for $10.00, net, after the government discount.
