60 mile an hour Groundhog......

Not under his own power, but riding in the back of my truck...
We got tired of chasing him away from our house, most Wood Chucks are content to burrow in your yard, causing the dirt mounds that we hit with the mowers and explode in the mower deck, no, not ours, he was chewing on the house and had to go!
I caught him in our Hava-Heart trap with some yummy carrots, celery and tomato. He didn't like it much, but I took him to the local park and, as you can see, he headed towards the tree line and creek.
Bye-bye...............

Nice looking park (for now) Ozz. I'm sure the critter will like it. Much nicer than something fatal. Bob

Do the same with chipmunks, I hunt and fish but can't bring myself to do away with the little critters. So I use the hava-heart traps and make trips down the road to a isolated wooded area. Should make a holding pen to reduce trips, maybe these guys are bringing back their cousins.

Jon, I think so, I have relocated into the 'Witness protection plan' One Possum, and 5 woodchucks. Oh, I caught a small rodent-like blind burrowing 'something' (Mole?) in a bucket and walked him down the road to a field.
