Question on wood floors in older Montanas

For those of you that installed wood Laminate snap together floors in the kitchen.. any problems with the slide coming in and hitting the floor wood? I have a 2007 3400 RL
Like mine did.....
I had hoped the slide would lift enough to clear the floor.. nope.

Any way to adjust the slide to lift 1/4" or so?
Thanks.

We replaced the kitchen floor with laminate. New carpet on leading edge of kitchen slide. No clearance issues, it just worked.
So it is possible.
Good luck.

The carpet is wrapped over the bottom stringer/leading edge of the slide. I cant recall exactly how far back, perhaps 4".
There is no carpet on "the floor", its all laminate.
I can send you photos if you would like?
PM me an email address to send them to.

We started with the vinyl, but it shrunk in the cold at seams so we removed it, maybe we used the wrong brand. (Lowes)
Thanks

Ozz we put laminate in our 2001 and it cleared but it still left scratches on the laminate after a while in three places. Middle and both ends. On the outside where the walls attach to the floor there are some large headed screws. They were not in straight and caused most of damage. I would check with Lippert. It should clear with the right adjustments.

Ozz, we put down Pergo last January and we over come this problem by laying down 4 htpe Teflon strips two at the walls and two spaced in the middle. They are 1/8" thick and 3" wide with a 90 deg. bend on one end. So far so good. We vacumn and lay them down every time we run the slides in.

Thank you
According to the Lippert Components manual I have, adjusting the bolts I photographed will change the vertical position of the slide 'room'.
Adjustment is as obvious as it looks, I will email a scan of the two pages if you wish?
Hope thats your answer.

Thank you Larry and Steve. Appreciate all the help.
Today I will be adjusting that slide. It was very close from day 1, a screw was left over from assembly and it caught on the slide and tore the vinyl, the dealer sent me a roll of vinyl, as I repaired all my factory screw-ups.. and there were many, like most.
Steve I got the pictures you sent, thanks. The MOC Forum and all the members have each others backs.
Semper Fi to all the Jarheads out there. Good luck on the USMC Run today..
