CG reports

Have you stayed at Trails End or Creekwood or Pride RV resort in the Maggie Valley-Waynesville NC area? Please give pros or cons. Thanks

Yes, we have stayed in Creekwood a couple of times. Would go back there. Site parking pretty tight, but very helpful staff. Of course, Pride is literally right next door, so we have obviously seen it but have never stayed there.

Bottom line: We'd probably go back to Creekwood to stay in the area.

Have you stayed at Tom Johnsons CG in Marion, NC or Smokey Mountain Meadows CG in Bryson City, NC? We are going next month and are looking at these, any comments anyone?

We spent 2 nights at Pride. Site's are a little tight..drove thru Creekwood about the same... Not much difference in the two..

As an aside, we drove past Pride last week. I wondered if it was named for gay pride...

Hi Carole,
We've stayed at Tom Johnson's CG in Marion, NC, nice GC, no cable or DTV, but you have satellite so that shouldn't matter. They have a little restaurant on site that has good food. Its located behind the RV center.
