Does anyone have one laying around they haven't thrown away after replacing? I know there was a lot replacing these units. Audio went out on ours. What did anyone find to replace these units so you could still use surround sound?

Thanks,
Lorraine

Lorraine, the new Montanas are coming with Samsung and use the same surround setup. If you have to replace it, that will work.

Panasonic SA-PT 660, spliced their speaker connectors on and it is a MAJOR improvement!

You will have to buy a separate amp/theater setuo to run the 5.1 surround.

Yes Lorraine, we have the Samsung surround system and also the new 40" Samsung tv. System is great, at least so far!
The new 19" bedroom tv is a Jensen 12 volt that can be used in the basement, a real neat feature for watching night NASCAR races. And can be used when boon docking without ac hookup.
