Necessary Tools to Carry

Suggest you throw a piece of pipe in your tool compartment. The truck broke down and I had to have the FW towed. I have a slider hitch so have a capture plate attached to the Morryde pinbox, and the tow operator required me to remove the plate. I had a rachet and the correct sized socket, but it takes a breaker bar to get the four bolts off. In fact, I needed a piece of 3' pipe to put over the rachet to get them started.

I carry a milwaukee 1/2'' cordless inpact. I carry the 13/16 deep socket with extention for the rv and 7/8 deep socket for the truck. Sounds like i might need a few more sockets. The cordless inpact is every bit as powerful as my Ingersoll Rand air impact tool.It seems you can never carry to many tools. Thanks for the imput.

The only thing bad about using your torque wrench as a breaker bar if you don't have it turned up high enough you slowly knock the calibration off by pulling past the click at the set amount.

Harbor Freight has breaker bars - got my 32" 1/2" drive for $12 and it works fine.
